Medway Village

Community Plan

Masterplan community, maximised growth

Medway Village will have approximately 1,000 residences, a minimum of 10 shops, and a diversity of housing from villas and small single family residences surrounding the village centre to larger residences and rural acreage lots within the community.

Bridging the Gap

A new pedestrian-friendly vehicle bridge will be constructed to connect Medway Village to the existing town of Marulan.

Water Management

  • Medway Village has bore water available on-site where the quantity is double the amount required and will integrate the best environmental practices to reduce water and energy use with advanced recycling and management measures including:
  • Recycled water used where non-potable water is required (grey water)
  • Every home will have a rain water tank
  • Bio-retention basins and swales to assist in removing pollutants from run-off

A well-connected community

As a compact development, Medway Village will be a Telstra Smart Community providing 'broadband' telecommunications with fibre optic cabling to every home. Click here to read about Telstra Smart Communities.

Only possible at Medway Village

These opportunities are only possible, at no cost to Government and Council, because of the vision and resources of Xcel Property Group.

The Highway location is critical to realising this vision and the hospitality, visitor, craft industry and historic Marulan village opportunities by intercepting travellers between Sydney and Canberra.

Goulburn is presently on level 5 water restrictions. Medway will provide its own water solutions, with capacity to serve three times the proposed residents, and its own ground water recharge solutions.

Medway will also provide $800k for public improvements in the Marulan Village.
